Ride the Waves Fundraiser

I created and implemented a comprehensive marketing strategy for the Power for Parkinson’s Ride the Waves fundraiser in August 2024, which helped the organization raise over $60K—double what the fundraiser raised in 2023!

I used Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, email, direct mail, and Google Ads to drive donors to help Power for Parkinson’s keep its symptom-focused exercise classes free and accessible to all people with PD. CLICK HERE to view the webpage and virtual donation pages I designed for the fundraiser!

Ride the Waves during our virtual classes. 

PFP’s Ride the Waves Fundraising Campaign took place from August 1st until August 23rd, so I used a variety of streams to keep PFP’s audience engaged in the fundraiser throughout the month. Health, Wellness & Creativity Fair

One of my favorite events that Power for Parkinson’s hosts every year is their “Creative Showcase,” an art show featuring the work of people with Parkinson’s and their care partners. The showcase is all about raising awareness about Parkinson’s disease and showing the world a more nuanced, diverse image of what life with PD can look like. In 2023, the showcase was renamed the “Health, Wellness & Creativity Fair” as it expanded to feature local resources serving older adults. I promoted the showcase across social media and created a digital gallery so that people worldwide could view artwork from the showcase.
